Support the Lentinis

Fund # 4640-00

The Lentini family has taken on the missionary methodology of living and working with the local population to show them what a Christian life lived well means.  They work with the local people, engage in their lives, and lead them to the gospel.  It is a life on life approach.  They love the Italian people who have so often been left wanting from the Roman Catholic church.  They also work with hosting missionaries and others for a time of rest and encouragement as hosts for the House of Refreshment (La Casa del Restoro, see below).

Support La Casa del Ristoro

Fund # 4640-01

La Casa del Ristoro (The House of Refreshment)– will take care of tired missionaries and pastors that work in Italy and surrounding countries. It is a place they can come and rest for free. It will be for physical rest but we will have prayer and Bible Study to refresh their hearts so they are ready to go back to their ministries and churches.

Other ministries to be offered in the house are teaching English through English camps that also teaches the Bible, Bible studies, church services, feeding the poor and homeless people and house bound elderly people, visiting house bound elderly people, encouraging people with special needs children with monthly dinners.

After school programs that will offer tutoring in any subject especially English.  Helping poor young families with baby supplies such as diapers, formula, and clothes.  Hospital visitation and prison ministry to provide Bible studies and counseling.

Adamo and Sonya Lentini are the hosts and proprietors of this project.

Inspiration for this Project:

Robert Chapman was a lawyer.  When he accepted Christ he gave up being a lawyer and became a pastor of small baptist church in Barnstaple, England.  He bought some row houses.  Then he gave the rest of his money away and lived by faith.  Mr. Chapman used his home to house exhausted workers of the Lord.  They were allowed to stay as long as they would like at no charge.  He had a rule that no one was allowed to argue about doctrinal differences.  He met with men one on one and asked about their walk with the Lord.  He disciple them and prayed with them.  The workers of the Lord went back to there ministries refreshed and ready to pour back into their ministries.
