After distributing one of our first books, “What is the gospel?” in Swedish, a brother was traveling up north in Sweden and happened to stop in a small village.  He noticed that the local church had a meeting and walked in.  

Praise God to see that in this village they were training their members through a study of “What is the gospel?”  This is the greatest need for us in Sweden to rediscover the gospel that used to be preached in every village, town, and city, but to a large extent is now lost.

Why Sweden?

“Isn’t Sweden a Christian country?” Actually, it’s reckoned to be the fastest ‘de-Christianizing country in the world, with less than 2% now identifying as evangelical Christians and at least one evangelical church closing down every week.

Yet in the midst of this decline, there’s a spark of hope, with a growing hunger among evangelicals for the unchanging truth of God’s Word.

What’s the need?

There are very few gospel-centered resources available to EQUIP churches and their leaders to faithfully proclaim and apply the Bible. Materials to help families and individuals to grow in their relationship with Jesus, as they EXPLORE the Bible for themselves, are also a pressing need. In addition, there’s a tremendous need for clear, Christ-centered evangelistic resources to help ENGAGE an increasingly secular society with the gospel. 

How you can be involved?

Please consider helping us to produce resources that ‘give God the microphone’, putting God’s Word back in the center for Swedish churches, their leaders, families and ordinary Christians.

Reformedia is still in a formative stage but are praying and striving towards being self-sustainable.
